For me, colours and shades are a part of life. Textile is my material and it has been with me since I was a child. I love to draw patterns, colour the world and tell stories through my pictures.

I am working as a freelancer with a focus on textile design and website design.

My first job after graduating from the Swedish School of Textiles, University of Borås, was at Kasthall's carpet factory in Kinna. Being able to work in the middle of production was fantastic. Surrounded by people with great professional knowledge, I learned most about reporting, yarn qualities, colour scheme, industrial weaving and hand tufting. We were an incredibly good bunch who worked close to each other and I made friends for life.

After a few years, I started my own company, moved to Stockholm and begun to work as a freelance designer. In addition to designing patterns for woven and printed textiles for both large and small companies, I have done art assignments and custom designed rugs for public spaces.

In 2007 I founded the design studio HAPPYsthlm together with my friends and colleagues Katarina Andersson (glass designer) and Caroline Lindholm (silversmith). Together, we designed our own collections that we had manufactured by smaller producers around Sweden. We sold our items through retailers all over the world and we also ran our HAPPYsthlm shop on Stora Nygatan in the Old Town between 2012-2017.
